The Galala Real Estate Investment and Development Company was established in 2010 to manage investment and contracting activities in the housing sector. Leveraging its expertise and capabilities, it has received administrative support from local and international engineering consultancy firms. The company has aimed to enhance its technical capabilities, especially in construction works, particularly finishes, by employing specialized Ukrainian labor. Additionally, 160 specialists were hired for one of the company’s projects. Alongside 500 local and non-local workers from all Iraqi provinces, Kalat Company boasts achievements in providing adequate housing through its investment projects, supported and facilitated by the Kurdistan Regional Government, to address the housing crisis in the region. The Investment Commission in Erbil, through its management and engineers, supervises and oversees the company’s operations in the region continually and consistently.
