Introduction
Galala Real Estate Investment and Development Company was established in 2010 to manage investment and construction activities in the housing sector. Drawing upon its expertise and capabilities, it has received administrative support from local and international engineering consulting firms. The company has endeavored to enhance its technical capabilities, particularly in infrastructure projects, utilizing specialized foreign labor. It has employed 160 specialists for one of its projects, alongside 500 skilled and unskilled workers from various provinces of Iraq.
Future Industrial Projects
Future Cement Plant Project in Al-Muthanna Governorate, located in Samawa, with an annual production capacity of 2,000,000 tons, and an estimated cost of $220 million.
The engineering and technical staff in the project
The project has employed local engineering and technical personnel to oversee the construction and service infrastructure, including roads, drainage systems, water supply networks, and electrical grids in the project. Local engineering and technical personnel have been employed to execute the construction and service works in the project. More than 1000 construction workers have been employed in the project throughout the project completion period. A portion of the secondary works has been subcontracted to local contractors and secondary contractors, including Turkish contractors, to carry out the construction works, especially finishing works.
